This sheet, one page of a screenplay, has three large facial portraits of different looks.  The first is a man with long hair, combed from the center, wearing a moustache.  The second is a younger man with short kinky hair and the third is a Julius Caesar-type character.  All three are done in black ink, well executed and quite appealing,  Included is a letter of authentication from Pat Quinn, an assistant to Brando.

He writes in full, "Due to the 35th anniversary of the M. Gorky Moscow Arts Theater of the Union of SSR and according to the Regulations on the Seagull Badge, approved by the Central Executive Committee of the USSR, - I am asking you, for myself and on Konstantin Sergeyevich's behalf, to accept the attached token as an expression of gratitude for your valuable 17-year work for the benefit of the Theater, which is so close and dear to all of us." Boldly signed at the bottom, "K. Stanislavsky" and "Nemirovich-Danchenko." The influence of his "Method was and remains extensive in the United States. Documents signed by the two founders of the Moscow Arts Theater are quite uncommon. The letter head and type face are in brown ink. One slight tear affecting the end of Danchenko's signature.

He writes to his M.C.A. agent regarding a Warner Brothers contract. He adds one holograph correction in the first line which reads, “I had a call today from someone in New York, a [ he crossed out ‘the’ and replaced it with ‘a’] record company. The connection was not too good, however I asked them to contact you…they are of the idea that they want a Percy Dovetonsils thing, and I said that I would do it on the one condition that I do it exactly as I want it…Regarding the Warner Bros…I think it is time that they are contacted with this ridiculous letter that they have sent me…and are told that I have now consummated [sic[ my part in the contractual arrangement…but if they will turn over the art-work which I selected and the tape they can forget the $1500.00, otherwise they owe me, $1,500.00….” He signs, "Ernie." This letter is accompanied with a letter to his agent from Warner Brothers. Uncommon and desirable.

This is a superb oblong still from the movie, The Canterville Ghost. Laughton is seated holding a book, staring at the camera, with a slight smile on his face. He has signed in a very large hand "Charles Laughton" in a light area of the portrait. Very slight smearing to the signature. Laughton was one of the most captivating actors of his generation. He also directed the classic The Night of the Hunter.
