(1901-89) French composer who formed the Groupe des Trois along with Louis Emié and Jean-Marcel Lizotte, with the hope of creating the best music of all time. Their first concert took place in 1920, featuring fellow musician and composer Erik Satie, playing Sauguet's "Danse nègre and Pastorale pour piano". In 1923, Sauguet formed Ecole d'Arcueil With support from Satie, who continued to influence Sauguet, they had their first concert in 1923.

He pens five bars of music, inscribed in French and signed, "Henri Sauguet". The quotation is underneath the inscription and signature. He titles the bars of music, "les Foreins[?]." Ideal for presentation.
