This letter is from Wanger to Mr. Ernest Angell of the Council for Democracy in New York City. It reads, "Dear Mr. Angell, I am terribly sorry about not having a chance to see you in New York, but I was there only a little over a day and in convention. However, I did carry out your instructions and called Walter Houston, but the Pierre advised he was out of town for a few days. If there is anything else I can do please do not hesitate to call upon me. I am sorry to have been so remiss. Kind personal regards," and signed in full, "Walter Wanger"
