HAM FISHER

(1900-55) was an American comic strip writer, most remembered for his character, Joe Palooka.

Fisher has drawn in pencil a sketch of Joe Palooka, dressed in coat and plaid cap, putting an envelope into a mail box. The caption reads, "I Cete'ny hope Pauline gits well soon," which he writes in capital letters above Palooka's cap, and below he adds, "Oceans of love from Joe Palooka and Ham Fisher." Superb for presentation. Very Good.
