American cartoonist, Surrealistic painter, illustrator best-known for his award-winning syndicated cartoon panel Bizarro. He has received the National Cartoonists Society Panel Cartoon Award for 1999, 2000 and 2001, and he has been nominated for their Reuben Award several times.
