The letter dated on Dec 4, 1981 and reads in part, “…We should both apply for membership in the Olympic Fencing Team!!...”Signed, “Enrico Caruso”. The letter on July 9, 1982 and reads, “Where did you find that wonderful photo?! Do hope the book will have the success we all want for it…. Let me know when your book is printed so that I can come up.” Signed, “Enrico.” The letter on Jan 25, 1982 and reads, “…Just received your letter and the check… Just found a strip of shots of my Mother’s portrait – perhaps you can get a decent print for your book. When you have print with it please return.” Signed, “Enrico”. The letter on Jan 28, 1983 reads, “…Now if you are ready serious about working with me – or at least examining my material… By that time ‘Caruso’ by Howard Greenfeld will be printing... “. Signed, “Enrico”.
