LIpschitz (1891-1973) Cubist sculptor, born in Lithuania, later came to the United States and became one of 250 sculptors who exhibited in the 3rd Sculpture International held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the summer of 1949; Rosen (1912-89) American cartoonist known for his caricatures.

Black and white Caricature of Lipschitz signed by him. Accompanied by a note from artist Rosen in pencil, Jan 12, 1976, giving provenance to the art work. In full, "To Whom It May Concern - The Lipschitz caricature was mailed together with other of himself to Hastings-on-Hudson and sent back autographed - Drawn by me - Jack Rosen."
