(1920-2001) American cartoonist who created the Dennis the Menace comic strip, writing and drawing it from 1951 to 1994, when he retired from drawing the daily page and took up painting full time in his studio

Ketcham has drawn a large and cheery Dennis the Menace in full length wearing his sling shot at the back of his pants. He holds a red crayon and a card with, "XXX Dennis" written in red. Above his head, Ketcham has written, "This OK Ron?" and next to Dennis, "Warm regards, Hank Ketcham." This is a colorful rendition of the favorite comic character.
