Original Art SIGNED in exceptionally large format, charcoal sketch of a generic hero, archival framing.

Nielsen has sketched a portrait of a heroic figure, mid-chest length, chiseled face and wind-blown hair, looking to the right, approximately 11 1/4 (width) by 10 (height) inches. The sketch is accomplished with charcoal and artist's pencil. The artist has signed in the lower right corner, "Kay Nielsen." Signature is prominent but smudged. This unusually large portrait sketch is matted with acid free archival charcoal gray board and framed using conservation glass in bronzed gray frame. The drawing sheet is evenly sunned, fragile with upper right corner missing, not affecting image which is complete, left edge of sketch paper was likely cut unevenly. Signed sketches, especially with these dimensions, are exceptional.
