(1921-2010). Animation pioneer in stop motion clay animation, best known as the co-creator of Gumby and his horse, Pokey.

Clokey has drawn his beloved character Gumby saying "I [love drawn with a heart] USA." The First Day Cover shows the American flag behind the capital building with two red, white and blue stamps. To the right, Clokey has signed in full, "Art Clokey." A delightfully patriotic drawing framed in red, white and dark blue triple mat, in black wood frame and conservation glass.
