(1844-1940) French inventor and physicist, mainly known for his involvement in wireless telegraphy and his invention of a contribution to the evolving technology of radio communications, called the Coherer.

Under his printed name, Edouard Branly, "presents his congratulations to Mr. Landouzy for his recent success." Likely to Louis Landouzy (1845-1917), Dean of the Medical Faculty University of Paris. He is remembered for his research on muscular dystrophy, but the majority of his research concentrated on tuberculosis. Fine medical association.
