Both sketches were drawn on one First Day Cover honoring American folk artist Grandma Moses, with cancellation postmarked Washington, May 1, 1969. Seuss wrote "Hi Bob" between the Cat and the eggs and signed under the Cat, Dr. Seuss." ." Exceptional for Seuss to draw two sketches from two different stories on the same sheet.
