PAUL ROBESON

(1898- 1976). American singer, actor, civil rights activist and football hero. He was a graduate of Columbia University Law School, admitted to the New York Bar and practiced law for a short time in New York.

Robeson is shown in bust length close up. With black ink, he signs in full, "Paul Robeson." Docketed on verso, "5th October 1933." A fine image of one of America's most important multi-talented stars of both stage and screen. Condition: Fine image, on verso slight ink stains on lower portion.
