PABLO PICASSO

(1881-1973). Spanish painter and sculptor. One of the most prolific and recognized figures in twentieth-century art, best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety of styles embodied in his work.

Picasso Original Drawing with Autograph Note Signed, June 6, 1958. Picasso dedicated this charming sketch of a Palm like tree and sun to his friend, writing in Spanish, "For my friend...Picasso, 12.6.58. " The SIGNED drawing measures 4.75 x 6 inches on brown card stock of 6.75 x 9 inches and floats on a dark gray mat overlaid with a white mat, framed in black satin finished wood, matted and framed in museum quality materials, framed in 5/8/inch black satin wood.
