CHARLIE CHAPLIN

(1889-1977). English comedy actor, studio creator and executive, notable film director and musician; one of the most creative and influential personalities of the silent film era. He acted in, directed, scripted, produced, and eventually scored his own films.

Youthful Original Vintage Photograph, Signed, 7 x 5 inches, August 1919, dated on verso.

An appealing, vintage photograph boldly signed, " Faithfully Chas. Chaplin." Date is docketed on verso by owner, "Aug. 1919," making Chaplin not more than thirty years old. Slight silvering, mounting remnants on verso in upper corners. A classic image of the enduring film maker.
