With this signed contract, the famed director early in his career Hawks sells his story, "Salvage" to MGM. The contract states that he is the sole author. He signs on page two, "Howard. W. Hawks," with notarization at the bottom of the page. His best remembered comedies include "Bringing Up Baby" (1938), "His Girl Friday (1940)," "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (1953). His other important films include "Scarface" (1932) "Sergeant York" (1942) , "To Have and Have Not," (1946). He received an honorary Academy Award in 1975. www.schulsonautographs.com.
