The image is in very good condition with one small break in the top border at the center not affecting the image. The attached press caption on aged and brittle paper has deteriorated into several readable pieces. "Talked out of accompanying the first wave of invaders to the shores of France, Prime Minister Winston Churchill visited the Allied beachhead in Normandy as soon as he possibly could." Credit for the photograph goes to "British Official Photo from Acme" with the date "6/15/44" above the words "official photo."
