Power Writes about his Performance in the play "Back to Methuselah"

Autograph Letter Signed, on one 4to page of monogrammed "TP" stationery, docketed April 7, 1958. Power writes to his friends, actress and writer, Ruth Gordon and her husband, writer and director Garson Kanin addressing the couple as "Dearest Ruth and Gar." "Although we seemed to come off fairly well, they just do not like Mr.[George Bernard] Shaw. But I'm very glad I did it..." He signs, "Tyrone." In March 1958, several months before his death later that year, Power starred in Arnold Moss's adaptation of George Barnard Shaw's 1921 play "Back to Methuselah." He refers to his performance in this letter.
