(1915-2001) American songwriter who was part of the duo song writing team, Livingston and Evans. They won the Academy Award for Best Original Song three times, in 1948, for "Buttons and Bows", in 1950 for "Mona Lisa", and in 1956 for '"Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera). They also wrote the very famous Christmas song, "Silver Bells".

In black ink Livingston has written out the first bar of his most famous song, "Silver bells". He has signed in full, "Jay Livingston". In pristine condition.
