PHILIP EVERGOOD

(1901-73) American painter, etcher, lithographer, sculptor, illustrator and writer. He was particularly active during the Depression and World War II era.

This is a letter to a friend, "Dear Sidney, Please forgive the delay in getting in touch with you & having that lunch together which I have been looking forward to......at the same time have been battling to complete some work that I had contracted to do - a colored lithograph (for Vincent Price collection) for the last few weeks. I do hope to see you soon when the weather gets a bit better & I can get a chance to get into town...."Signed "Philip E." Additional images on request.
