(b. 1916 - ) American screen actor universally recognizable for his gravelly voice, cleft chin and Hollywood good looks. Kirk Douglas is a legend in film for his roles in “Spartacus”, “Lust for Life”, “The Bad and The Beautiful”, among dozens of others .

Photograph Signed, 4to, n.p.,1988.

This is a black-and-white publicity photo of Kirk Douglas and George Hamilton as combatants in a dramatic still from MGM's "Two Weeks in Another Town", directed by Vincente Minnelli. It shows Douglas on the telephone, and Hamilton behind him holding a knife to his neck. Douglas has a long scar on his right cheek. A campy, though serious looking picture, it is inscribed near the bottom in black pen on light background, "Kirk Douglas For Judith '88". It is ready for presentation.
