Postcard Signed "Lachaise", on the correspondence side of a picture postcard, Maine, June 9, 1931.

Lachaise writes to writer and critic Gilbert Seldes. In part: "I am sending to you a copy of the Bath Time with quotation of your N. Yorker article on me. I am sorry that I will have to leave all the little lamb (sic) of Maine to return to wicked N.Y. in a few days....." In very good condition, with mild handling wear, postmark lightly touching a few words of text, and 2.5" edge tear touching address panel only.
